Tampere Guitar Festival is proud to present a truly special concert: Aniello Desiderio and Zoran Dukić, two of the most celebrated classical guitarists of our time, perform together in Finland for the very first time. Together, Dukić and Desiderio offer much more than virtuosity. Their playing is a living conversation between two powerful musical minds — spontaneous, refined, playful and electrifying. This Tampere Guitar Festival concert is a rare opportunity to experience two guitar legends side by side in their first joint performance in Finland.
Known internationally as the A to Z Guitar Duo, Desiderio and Dukić bring together two unmistakable artistic personalities: Italian fire, Slavic precision, dazzling virtuosity and profound musical imagination. Their partnership is a meeting of two masters who know how to transform the classical guitar into an instrument of colour, drama, humour and breathtaking intensity.
Zoran Dukić, born in Zagreb, is one of the most distinguished classical guitarists of his generation. His career has taken him to major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Palau de la Música in Barcelona and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. During his remarkable competition years, he became known as one of the most awarded guitarists of his time.
Aniello Desiderio, from Naples, is admired for his extraordinary technique, passionate musical temperament and charismatic stage presence. A former child prodigy, he has built an international career as one of Italy’s leading classical guitarists, praised especially for his brilliant interpretations of Paganini, Scarlatti, Carulli and the Italian guitar tradition.
