Between the two concert on Saturday at Tampere Hall there is a moment to go a bit deeper under the skin of Brazil. Brazilian Afternoon in Maestro Hall starts with dinner and discussion In Touch with Yamandu Costa & Mika Kaurismäki. We will also watch the movie Brasileirinho by Mika Kaurismäki.

IN TOUCH WITH YAMANDU COSTA & MIKA KAURISMÄKI
TGF:s serie "In touch with" has a new perspective. This time audience may share a moment with Brazilian guitar virtuoso, and right after his concert! Costa will be on stage with Finnish movie director Mika Kaurismäki. He directed movie Brasileinho, in which also Yamandu Costa appears. The movie will be shown after the conversation. The conversation is in Portugese and English.
Brasileirinho (2005, duration 1,5h) is a movie by a celebrated Finnish director Mika Kaurismäki. A musical documentary and tribute about "choro", an older style of playing that forms the foundation of all Brazilian composition, including samba and bossa nova. Stars of the movie are Yamandu Costa, Teresa Cristina and Paulo Moura. The movie is presented in a new hall of Tampere Hall called Maestro using its superb 5.1 sound system.
There are two kind of tickets available: ticket for unnumbered seated section and a ticket including dinner, that is available only in advance until June 7th).
A: Show & Street food 38 € (Only in advance until June 7th).
B: Normal ticket 10 € (at the door 15 €)
Prices include service fees. Unnumbered seats.
All seats are unnumbered. For groups and companies a table reservation is available on request. Online sales will be closed one hour before the event. If there are still tickets available, they are sold at the TGF info at the door.
• Yamandu Costa will perform at the same day at 15.30 at Acoustic Guitar Fever, that starts at 14.00. Combined tickets with dinner are available.
• Official after party at Restaurant Telakka (limited seats - prebooking is strongly recommended).
